Gregg received his music education at Mount St. Mary's College and Boston University with studies in theory and orchestration. He is also an accredited Seth Riggs Associate Voice Teacher, teaching both beginners and industry professionals. From 2011 to 2014 was a faculty member at the Orange County School of the Arts, teaching the Commercial Voice Class; He currently teaches Voice Musical Theater Classes at Clifton's Dance Studio and also teaches private lessons in voice and instrument while continuing to enjoy his lifelong passion of Polynesian song and culture with the non-profit group, Kamakani Komohana.


International Singer/Songwriter/Entertainer

Gregg de Castro is an accomplished International Singer / Songwriter / Entertainer. Widely traveled, he has performed his music throughout the USA, Europe, and the South Pacific. His stories and songs are rare treasures of insight, humor and deep emotion. Gregg's works have been published and performed internationally. His song, "The Valentino Tango" was one of the first American Pop tunes to be performed live in East Berlin before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Several of his songs have received extensive play in the islands of Samoa, the Kingdom and Tonga and Hawaii. His song, "The Island's Embrace", was featured in the popular documentary DVD, "Hollywood's Magical Island - Catalina". The song was the official theme song of the annual ISLAND'S EMBRACE LUAU EXPLOSION held in Catalina Island each August. The uniqueness of Gregg's music is derived from the diversity of his travels and his ability to embrace the spirit of all people in his lyrics and musical arrangements.


Family Man

Gregg is happily married 37 years with his radiant wife, Jene'a, and his three precious children, Duke, Skye, and Jenisa.
